Work Order Types

PLEASE READ LEAD TIMES BEFORE SUBMITTING WO'S

 Pricing Request (2 Weeks)

- New design request or a request to make a change to an existing part. No proto is required

Proto Request (3 Weeks)

- New item or additional iteration to an existing item that requires the design, pricing and a prototype for fitting

Plot & Sew/Weld (2 Weeks)

- Request for an existing cover that has been designed and no design change is required. You can select CLEAR material, otherwise it will be made from the material originally designated to that part number

Approval (Per PO or as needed)

- A new item that is being designed and going direct to production with no proto being requested

- Approval of previous design iteration with or without changes. No Proto is required

- If submitting an approval and a proto is required, please also submit a plot and sew for that requested part number

Rush Requests

When a RUSH is requested please only submit the WO(s) that need to be rushed. If you have a rush, as well as additional Work Orders with standard lead times, submit the standard lead times WO(s) as a seperate submission.

***Please ONLY add DESIGN RELATED comments to the Excel WO. The above comments section is for relaying information to the processing team only. Designers are unable to see these comments.

Please only attach supporting files such as; notes for designs, revisions to an exisitng work order, product images and so on.

Do not attach 2D or 3D object data with the work order. You should upload that via the SUBMIT FILES link on the DAT website. On your WORK ORDER, state that you submitted files to DAT and add the date of the submission and filename. 

You can add one file, or multiple files by Dragging and Dropping them above and they will be attached to this submission. Or you can click the Browse For Files button and select files to attach.

Supporting files such as drawings, PDF files, as well as any other document you have prepared for the design team to the Supporting Files upload area.

3D Files should be submitted to the DAT team via the SUBMIT FILES link on the transhield-dat.com website.

When done please click the below Submit to DAT button.
